Back to Front is an electroacoustic sonata for cello and laptop ensemble.
From very sorft sounds to distorted harmonics, I used some extended techniques to produce random or controlled rhythms and a comprehensive use of the harmonic spectrum. The live electronics parts bring more mass, color and gesture to the piece. Laptop layers are interacting with the cellist with use of samplesfrom the instrument, they develop these sounds untill an improvised middle section before entering a gloss and dramatic finale.
